The new A*E Department at Wexford General Hospital is to open in June providing state of the art facilities and privacy to patients who present at the Hospital. A decision on the future alignment of Wexford General Hospital has also been finalised and will see Wexford linked up with Dublin's Mater and St Vincents Hospitals. However the link with Waterford for patients in the South of the County will continue. The new maternity wing also under construction will open its doors in September providing six delivery suites in an ultra modern environment.
