Wild dog apprehended after weeks of sheep attacks

A dog that has been wreaking havoc on sheep flocks in the New Ross area has been captured.

The dog had been running wild in the area over the past few months and a number of attempts at catching had failed. However last night it is understood he was finally apprehended.
