Winter Vomiting Bug On The Rise

The Health Service Executive is urging the public to be vigilant as noroovirus, also known as the "winter vomiting bug," is spreading rapidly this season. 

Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, fever, headaches, and stomach cramps, typically lasting 2 to 3 days. 

The virus can spread through contaminated surfaces or food

Experts recommend frequent hand washing, disinfecting surfaces, and staying home for at least 48 hours after symptoms subside.
